Often when I decide to talk about myself I list my favorite philosophers and artists. That says something, I suppose. I am most interested and passionate in destroying the heterosexual capitalist colonialist patriarchy. I'm not really interested in reforming it, and generally believe the change I want will require a total change in how we live together, how we think about ourselves and our world, etc.

All that said, when I look at the worlds revolutions, I see reluctantly that they have succeeded most when something changes in the hearts of the people. They have failed when someone trys to impose a new way of living on others. So it seems we are stuck with some gradual, or at least with revolutionizing the world one person at a time.

I've been teaching at Naropa the last couple of years - mostly a couple of classes called Feminism, Queer Theory and Religion and Queer Ethics. Also a Religion in Human Experience course that focused on Post-Colonial issues and some courses in MA Contemplative Psychotherapy on meditation and Buddhist Psychology.
